Cancellation Policy

At Sawyer Farms, we strive to accommodate our guests and event clients while ensuring our bookings remain fair and organized. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before making a reservation.

Cancellations

• Vacation Rentals – Guests may cancel 30+ days before check-in for a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made 14-29 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in will not be refunded.
• Weddings & Events – Cancellations made more than 180 days before the event will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations made 90-180 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 90 days before the event will not be refunded.

Rescheduling & Modifications

• Vacation Rentals – Guests may request to reschedule their stay at least 14 days before check-in, subject to availability. Any changes made within 14 days of check-in will be treated as a cancellation and follow the standard refund policy.
• Weddings & Events – Clients may reschedule their event once, at least 120 days before the original date, subject to availability. A $500 rescheduling fee applies, and the new event date must be within 12 months of the original date.

No-Shows & Early Departures

• Vacation Rentals – If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and has not contacted us, the reservation will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued. No refunds or credits will be given for early check-outs or unused nights.
• Weddings & Events – If the event is canceled within 90 days of the scheduled date, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

Severe Weather & Emergency Cancellations

• Vacation Rentals – If extreme weather conditions or government-issued travel restrictions prevent safe travel to Sawyer Farms, we will provide a credit for a future stay (valid for 12 months). Personal emergencies (such as illness or work conflicts) do not qualify for a refund, and we strongly recommend travel insurance for added protection.
• Weddings & Events – Outdoor events are rain or shine, and clients should have backup arrangements for inclement weather. If a government-mandated shutdown or natural disaster prevents the event from taking place, we will work with clients to reschedule at no additional cost.
