Check-in Policy

At Sawyer Farms, we aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for both vacation rental guests and event clients. Please review the following check-in procedures and policies before your arrival.

Check-In Process

• Vacation Rentals – Check-in time is 3:00 PM or later. Guests will receive check-in instructions via text message 24 hours before arrival, including key access and any additional details needed for their stay.
• Weddings & Events – Clients may access the venue starting at the agreed-upon setup time outlined in their contract. Any early access requests must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance and may be subject to additional fees.

Identification & Security Deposit

• Vacation Rentals – The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and provide a valid government-issued ID upon request. A security deposit of $500 is required and will be refunded after checkout, pending inspection.
• Weddings & Events – The event coordinator or responsible party must check in with a Sawyer Farms staff member upon arrival. A refundable security deposit may be required to cover any potential damages or overages.
• Deposits will be sent back within 10-14 days after inspection of properties have been done.

Early Check-In Requests

• Vacation Rentals – Early check-in may be available upon request but is not guaranteed. If available, a $50 early check-in fee may apply.
• Weddings & Events – Early venue access must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance and may be subject to an hourly early access fee.

Guest & Vendor Access

• Vacation Rentals – Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Any additional visitors must be approved in advance and may be subject to an additional fee.
• Weddings & Events – Vendors and event staff must check in with Sawyer Farms upon arrival. The client is responsible for ensuring all vendors comply with venue policies. If renting the whole property no more than 15 people can stay in the main house and no more than 7 people in the cottage.

Pets & Smoking

• Vacation Rentals – Absolutely no pets are allowed.  Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental; an additional $450 cleaning fee will apply for violations.
• Weddings & Events – Absolutely no pets are allowed. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Late Arrivals

• Vacation Rentals – If arriving after 10:00 PM, please notify us in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process.
• Weddings & Events – Clients and vendors must adhere to the scheduled access time. Late arrivals may impact event setup and could incur additional fees.
